Make-A-Wish Teddy Bear Charity Rag Quilt update

Happy Easter/Passover to all our followers & readers! We all hope you are having a beautiful day today where ever you may be.

I wanted to give a brief blog update on our Make-A-Wish Teddy Bear Charity Rag Quilt we will be auctioning off soon, with all proceeds going to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. I received a few more squares in the mail this week and have a few more on their way within the next few days. To date (not including my own squares yet) I have received 74-completed 9 1/2" squares; 5-single 9 1/2" squares; 24-completed 8 1/2" squares; 11-single 8 1/2" squares and 8 teddy diecuts of different colors. This is such a wonderful turnout that I think I will probably be able to do 2 quilts and a lap/cuddle quilt also. Which means come next week I will be posting for 2 separate charities as we will be making the second quilt with all proceeds going to the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society which is the other charitable organization that has helped our special girl these quilts are in honor of.
Enjoy the rest of your day and be sure to stop back next week for our latest update on this teddy quilt and soon to be a second...

Sweet embroidered Teddy angels from Cathy and everyone loves Pooh Bear squares from Kerstin (one of our QCG sister quilters)...

Here is a close up of the embroidered angels...so cute!

This is a 6" high stack of all that has been contributed by 2 wonderful caring groups of quilting women.
